September is finally here, and this means it’s time for new iPhones. Well, ahead of the September 9 iPhone event next week, there are plenty of several launches from Xiaomi, Poco, Vivo, and more. From the Poco X8 Power to the Vivo T5, here are all the upcoming phones set to launch this week.

1. Poco F9 and F9 Ultra

• Launch: September 1, 2026
• Status: Global Launch
• Expected Price: €799 (approximately ₹87,000),€999 (approximately ₹1,09,000)

The first launches of this week are the Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra. Successors to last year’s Poco F8 series, these phones won’t be launching in India. Furthermore, they are likely to be rebrands of the Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max. This means you can expect the F9 Ultra to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and the F9 Pro to use a cut-down version called the 8 Elite Gen 5 V.

Both phones will feature a 200MP triple camera setup, HyperOS 3 with 4 years of updates, and a dedicated subwoofer on the base tuned by Bose. The F9 Pro will pack a 6,330mAh battery while the F9 Ultra will have a bigger 8,050mAh one. With an expected price tag of €799 (approximately ₹87,923) and €999 (approximately ₹1,09,931), respectively, both phones will cater to the premium segment.

2. Vivo T5 5G

• Launch: September 2, 2026
• Status: India Launch
• Expected Price: ₹34,999

After the release of the Vivo T5 Pro earlier this year, Vivo is now focusing on its smaller sibling, the Vivo T5. It’s basically a rebranded iQOO Z11, so you get the same Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset and 12GB of RAM. Other specifications include a 6.83-inch curved AMOLED display and a massive 7050mAh battery. Given it’s the same phone with new colors, expect a price tag of around ₹34,999 for the base variant.

3. Redmi 17 5G

• Launch: September 3, 2026
• Status: India Launch
• Price: ₹20,999-₹24,999

After months of speculation and delay, the Redmi 17 5G is finally making its way over to India. And compared to the global variant, it has slightly different specifications. You get a bigger 7,900mAh battery and 45W fast charging support. It is also the first phone in India to use the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor. Other specifications include a 50MP primary camera, 45W fast charging, and dynamic RGB light on the back for notifications. Expect it to have a price tag of somewhere around ₹20K to ₹25K.

4. Poco X8 and X8 Power

• Launch: September 4, 2026
• Status: India launch
• Price: ₹28,999 (Poco X8)/ ₹34,999 (Poco X8 Power)

Poco is expanding its Poco X8 series with two new smartphones: the Poco X8 and Poco X8 Power. Interestingly, both phones are rebrands of the Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, which are set to launch in India later this month. The Poco X8 will pack a 9,000mAh battery, while the X8 Power, as the name suggests, will be a literal powerbank with a 10,000mAh battery.

The Poco X8 will be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 while the X8 Power will rely on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5. The X8 will be a compact phone with a 6.36-inch display while the X8 Pro will have a bigger 6.83-inch panel. The X8 is expected to start at ₹28K while the X8 Power will have a starting price of around ₹35K.

5. Infinix Hot 70 Pro

• Launch: September 4, 2026
• Status: India Launch
• Price: ₹9,999-₹12,999

A month after its global launch, Infinix is bringing the Hot 70 Pro to India. Just like Nothing phones, you get an Active Matrix Cube on the back which can show time, notifications, and details of incoming calls. It works similarly to the Glyph Matrix on the Nothing Phone (3). And just like your friend, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro can change its colors thanks to a temperature-sensitive back. The rest of the package looks pretty solid too, with a 6.76-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD panel and a 50MP primary camera. Powered by the Dimensity 7100 processor, it will pack a 6,000mAh battery with 45W charging. It is expected to launch at a price tag of around ₹25K-₹30K and will be available in three color options.

6. Huawei Mate XT 2

• Launch: September 7, 2026
• Status: China Launch
• Price: ₹1,89,999 to ₹2,10,999

With just a few days to go for Apple’s first foldable iPhone, Huawei is set to unveil its second generation tri-fold, the Huawei Mate XT 2. Exclusive to China, the Mate XT 2 will have bring a redesigned hinge with two displays folding inwards covering the main panel. Also, there’s outer screen made for calls, notifications and texts that you can use without unfolding the bigger display. The hinge is also more durable and the phone now measures just 3.5mm when unfolded.

Another change is the pill shaped camera with support for 3D face recognition and facial payment support. Other features include on device heart rate monitoring, support for multi tasking with HarmonyOS 7 and new Kirin 9050 series processor. The Huawei Mate XT 2 will be available in 16GB RAM and 2TB variant which means you wil probably need to sell your kidney and your soul to buy one.
